Larkin Clemmer
Auctioneer
Larkin Clemmer is a proud native Greene County resident. He and his wife Kaitlyn & son, Fowler, live in the Willoughby community in the western part of Greene County. There they raise registered and commercial cattle. He has been a local high school educator for a decade and now brings that same level of professionalism, respect, and attention to detail to the auction business.
Larkin grew up in the shadow of his grandfather, Wayne Woolsey, who was a well known Greene County auctioneer. He started out helping his grandfather and Mr. Phil King, another well known Greene County auctioneer display items and work as a ground man. From those simple beginnings he inherited a love for listening to auctions and developed an appreciation for the art. The “auctioneer’s cry” became a deep found interest. For many years he helped with charity and community auctions around East TN. Until he finally enrolled in the Walters State Community College Auctioneer’s course. After, he obtained his Affiliate license and shadowed under Dwight Thornburg at the Greenshed Auction. There he gained an abundance experience.
Now with a Principal license, he is excited and grateful to continue developing from two highly respected & experienced professional auctioneers in the Carters & Bettis firm.
